The Pretzschendorf wood mill was a water mill in the valley of the Wild Weißeritz. When the construction of the dam Klingenberg began in 1908, they still served as accommodation of construction workers before it was demolished with the completion of the dam. It's foundation walls were nearly 100 years at the bottom of the dam until they came back to light through the draining of the reservoir in 2010. The photos show the mill race, the keystones, the foundation walls, some vaults and the old millstones. Unfortunately, the keystones were stolen shortly afterwards but the millstone was removed and exhibited.
In 2012, the dam was flooded again and on 1/6/2012 the old wood mill disappeared in the floods again. Therefore, also the mill is no longer visitable. For a log, it is sufficient to take a picture of the timber mill bay.
