The Theodore Klieves House was built circa 1885 and is a twin to the house at 2315 Chapline. The house is in a Late Victorian style with Classical and Italianate influences. The three-story brick house has a mansard roof and elaborate hoods over the windows particularly those on the third floor.

The house was built by the firm of Klieves, Kraft and Co., at which Theodore was one of the partners along with his brother, Bernard, who owned the twin house next door.

The house has been recently restored and is in good condition and continues to serve as a private residence.
