This is the "mothership" location of Mi Casita, although there are two nearby express locations as well. This one is popular with the University of North Texas crowd, as well as with some of us locals. While there are sometimes complaints about the prices (usually on the plates), smarter folks can get out of here fairly cheap, and Mi Casita is known for having Happy Hour all the time, with pretty good deals on beer and margaritas (which are going to be problematical for those wanting to do carry-out). They are open daily, 7 AM to 9 PM, and closed on Sundays. There is a drive-thru window here, but be careful of someone ahead of you who has the proverbial order from hell, as you may wait awhile. Food here is your standard Mexican fare, although these folks are for real, and they do some of the real deal, like lengua, carnitas, and barbacoa. Their menu includes breakfast, burgers, and salads.

Be on the lookout for Taco Tuesdays and Thursdays, where tacos are $1.29 each, and Fajita Fridays, where you can get a plate of fajitas for $7.99. They also have $6.99 daily specials.
