The List Building at the southeast corner of Main and 14th Streets was built circa 1855. The three story brick building is in Italianate style and feature cast iron pilaster ornamentation.
The building was originally used for List, Davenport and Parks, wholesale grocers and pork packers. For more than 75 years the building was used by Gee Electrics. The building along with its adjacent building have been renovated and converted to the Wheeling Artisan Center, an event and retail site featuring local and West Virginia artists, craftsman and food. The building has has exhibits on the long industrial history of Wheeling.
