This ND historic marker stands at the west end of the remnants of the De Nores packing plant, which burned in 1907.
The text of the marker reads as follows:
"DE MORES PACKING PLANT
Was built on this site by the marquis de Mores in 1883 to furnish dressed beef direct from the western ranges. It was successfully operated for several years – destroyed by fire 1907.
