The Madeleine sails between 3 and 7 times per week, depending upon the season. It is a large ocean going car and passenger ferry. The crossing lasts five hours. This is the only ferry which sails from this terminal and the only route the ferry takes. Crossing rates are $25.75 to $48,75 per person, depending on age and season, while rates for cars range from $64,00 $91.00, depending on the season. Shuttle service from Charlottetown to Souris is available for $65 per person. Regardless of season, the Madeleine sails at 14:00 on sailing days. On each sailing it is capable of carrying 750 passengers, 208 cars and 24 semi-tailers.
