Every spring to early summer one can catch a riot of colour along this road. It's rather low land, a bit marshy in places, which is where purple loosestrife likes to grow. It is the major constituent of the flower fields, but gets some competition from wild daisies and other species. The show stretches for about a kilometre along Hanna Creek Road.
Unfortunately, loosestrife is invasive and considered a weed in this area, but the natural dryness of many areas prevents its spread to most areas. Still, it is pretty to look at, and the land it occupies hasn't any other real value anyway.
The place to park is right at the given coordinates.
