Maria Fumaça (Smoky Maria)--a 19th century steam train running between São João del Rei and Tiradentes (about 30 minutes).
The train leaves São João at 10 am and 2:15 pm, returning at 1 pm and 5 pm on Fri. Sat, Sun and holidays, and from Dec-Feb and July, the train runs daily.
The train station also features a railway museum and a gift shop.
