The Fredonia Post Office is a one story brick building with a center section and two recessed flanking sections. The center sections has Palladian window on either side of the entrance. The lettering across the top is in gold. The Post Office was erected under the public works projects during the Great Depression. It is Colonial Revival which was prevalent for the government buildings of this era. Louis A Simon was the architect, who also supervised the building of many similar post offices across New York during this era.
