La construction de cette ancienne église a été achevée en 1885 et a été consacrée en 1889.
Le bâtiment est resté inchangé, sauf en ce qui concerne le clocher. La flèche surmontée depuis 1909 a été retiré en 1970 pour des raisons de sécurité. On retrouve, à l’intérieur, les fonds baptismaux en granite et la cloche, récupérés de la première chapelle.
Le bâtiment est aujourd'hui le siège du Service des Loisirs, de la Culture et de la vie communautaire de Bromont connu sous le nom Centre culturel St-John.

The construction of this former church was completed in 1885 and was consecrated in 1889.
The building remained unchanged , except in regard to the bell tower . The arrow surmounted since 1909 was removed in 1970 for safety reasons . You can still see inside the granite baptismal font and bell recovered from the first chapel .
The building is now the headquarters of the Recreation , Culture and Bromont community now known as St. John's Cultural Centre .
