Nice views of the harbor and ocean. Cooler than many other areas in the summer with ocean breezes.
At 19th/Morse Drive and Western Avenue, take Morse west up the hill and go right at tee, taking Cumbre to entrance.
Adjacent Friendship Park also has a kiddy playground for very young kids. Nice picnic area with BBQs and nature center here. You can drive or walk from one park to the other. Alternative entrance, go west on 9th Street, west of Western Ave, take quick left into park driveway. Kiddy playground: 33 43.962, 118 19.080.
