The hotel and resort area officially opened on July 1, 1996. This is one of the hotels included in the Epcot resort area. The resort area includes Disney's Boardwalk Inn and the Villas on property. It is within walking distance to the Epcot Resort, which makes it a perfect place to stay while on vacation. You can also walk to MGM studios from here, or you can take the boat. A bike rental shop is located out front on the boardwalk and lake side.
