This two storey above-grade structure also features a basement and a storage area, and totals over 31,000 square feet. The finishes on both inside and out include a mix of materials to reflect the ideals of the Legion, including extensive use of both granite and wood. A creative landscaping package was included with memorials along the grounds to create a distinctive and well-suited atmosphere of respect and reverence.
The entrance to this building features a Wall of Remembrance that is adorned by an 11-foot long stainless steel sword by André Gauthier (2006). It is a replica of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission "Sword of Sacrifice" with stainless steel lettering on either side of extracts from the Prayer of Remembrance in English and French.
