Rozsáhlý židovský hrbitov byl založen v roce 1869. V letech 1903 - 1904 byla u vstupu postavena obradní sín, jejímž autorem byl vídenský architekt Wilhelm Stiassny, byla vypálena a na pocátku 60. let 20. století zbourána. Na hrbitove jsou mj. pohrbeni rodice skladatele Gustava Mahlera. Celkem je zde cca 1000 náhrobku.

The large Jewish cemetery was established in 1869. In the years 1903 - 1904 was built at the entrance of the ceremonial hall, designed by Viennese architect Wilhelm Stiassny, was burned by the Nazis and in the early 60th 20th century demolished. In the cemetery are buried, among others, the parents of composer Gustav Mahler. In total there are about 1,000 tombstones.
