Aetna furnace is located off State Route 93 on County Road 4, north of Ironton, OH.

The furnace remains are difficult to locate during the warm months due to the thick foliage. The stack is on county-owned land, therefore no special permission is needed to access the remains. The old church is still in use and can be found on SR 93, south of the furnace. A lot of additions have been made on the church, but the old structure still stands. The cemetery is still in use and is on top of the hill behind the church. The old school house, which is now a Pentecostal church, sits at the intersection of SR 90 and Couinty Road 4.
