Stanley was an old station wagon who was the founder of the most visited city on historic route 66, until interstate 40 was completed and everyone bypassed the town. That lead to the fateful end of the boom rush and economy of Radiator Springs. This statue of Stanley can be seen at the firehouse in Cars Land of Disney's California Adventure.
