The ReStores' shelves are stocked with new and gently used renovation supplies donated by homeowners and businesses. Everything is available to the public at deeply discounted prices.
New inventory is always arriving from a variety of generous supporters, so every trip to the ReStore offers a unique opportunity to discover a fantastic deal, a one-of-a-kind item, or the missing piece in your design inspiration.
The ReStores are owned and operated by Habitat for Humanity National Capital Region. The NCR ReStores divert more than 600 tonnes of waste from local landfills each year. The ReStores recycle all cardboard and unusable metal. Useable building materials are sold to Ottawa residents at very affordable prices.
ReStores accept donations of home and office electronics. The usable materials recovered from these products are recycled in Ontario through the Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES) program by Sims Recycling Solutions. Go to www.recycleyourelectronics.ca for a complete list of acceptable materials.
