This is the so-called 'Standseilbahn' in Stuttgart, Germany, Baden-Württemberg, which connects the 'Böblinger Straße' and the 'Waldfriedhof'.
It's an historic funicular. It has been opened on 10/30/1929.
The length of the track is 536 meters. It goes over an elevation of 87 meters and its heighest incline is 28%.
There are two original cars made by 'Maschinenfabrik Esslingen (ME)'.
Each car has a weight of 8 tons and a lengh of 9.8 meters. They can take 75 passengers.
Each ride takes about 4 minutes. The trains run every 20 minutes. It can be entered with the common tickets for busses or underground trains.
In 2004, for its 75th anniversary, the funicular has become a major overhaul.
