Text of the plaque erected on the wall.
This wall is built of stone formely in the building, which housed the Supreme Court of Canada 1881-1945. It was erected for use of Govermnent workshop in 1873 and demolished in 1956.

Ce mur est construit en pierre provenant de l’édifice qui logea la cour suprême du Canada en 1881-1945. Cet édifice avait été érigé pour l’usage des ateliers du gouvernement en 1873 et fut démoli en 1956.
