The poster of this Waymark does not speak German and Google Translate did not help in determining which of two Johann George Monckebergs were being honored here. The Father was a Senator and the son a famous doctor, researcher and professor. Dates on the monument refer to "1914-1926"... a year after the son's death...so, presumably the Doctor is the honoree. The street here is also named after him/them.
Anyway, this is the sculpture on the right side of the monument and it features a nude reclining woman resting her arm on the head and back of a seal. The left side features a man doing the same thing.
There is no information at the site indicating the artist or title. The date is presumbaly 1926.
The sculpture is in front of a distinctive Starbucks building.... which used to be the public hall.
