This station, a U.S. Geological Survey standard bench mark disk, is located in Kent, NY, at the junction of NY State Route 52, and Horsepound Road:
The station is located in the town of Kent, Putnam County, NY.
Set in a boulder 35-ft SSW from a road going west (Horsepound Road), 80-ft WNW from a road going NW-SE (NY State Route 52), and 75-ft WNW from a power pole NYSEG 350-29 / NYT 30, a standard bench mark disk, stamped --EGM 1 1942 767--, set horizontally, about 2-ft above ground.
At this time, USGS papers were unavailable for reference. Apparently, this station is not recorded at NGS, so there is no PID that I am aware of. It is not loggable at the Geocaching site. It is relatively easy to locate.
