This church is across from the old Ruddick School and Ruddick Cemetery, but the church is called Reddick Assembly of God. It is possible, but too improbable, that both a Ruddick and a Reddick family settled in the same area. The oldest Reddick grave (apart from 2 undated infant graves) is from 1941, whilst the oldest Ruddick grave is from 1869, when the cemetery was started. It is likely that someone in the family changed their name, thus starting a separately named family tree.

The church is 1.8 miles (as the crow flies) southeast of the small town of Garfield, or 2.1 miles by Ozark roads.
