Cemetery established in the 1830's for all faiths. Women of the area saved their homes during the Civil War and an attack by Wilson's Raiders by showing their husband's Masonic symbols.
Veterans of the wars since 1812 have been buried here. On the Alabama Register of Historic Places. There are other "Woodmen" here as well.

Through all pain at times he'd smile. A smile of heavenly birth and when the angels called him home, He smiled farewell to earth.
