[DE] Dieser artesiche Brunnen namens "Sedenqulle" befindet sich in einem kleinen Park in Hochdahl, einem Stadtteil von Erkrath. Die Quelle ist eher klein und umfasst weniger als 10 qm Fläche. Die Schichten unterhalb der Quelle bestehen aus Kies, Sand, Kalk und Ton, wobei letzterer die Sperrschicht bildet.
Die Sedenquelle wurde früher als Trinkwasserquelle genutzt.
[EN] This Artesian well named "Sedenquelle" can be found in Hochdahl, which is part of the city of Erkrath (not too far away from Düsseldorf), Germany. The well is fairly small, less than 10 sqm in area. The layers beneath the well are sand, gravel, lime and clay, whereas the latter is the blocking barrier, forcing the water upwards.
In the past the water coming from the well was used potable water, as it is pretty clean.
