"Located at the corner of Central and 8th streets, Washington Park is large and beautiful, offering an array of choices for entertainment. The park has an expansive athletic field and a baseball diamond, six tennis courts and a wall for practice, two basketball courts and two sets of volleyball net poles, plenty of parking, picnic space, benches and a sizeable playground. With all of these amenities, Washington Park provides an attractive destination for athletes, youngsters and picnic lovers from all over town as well as the rest of Bay Area.
