From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.4 miles to the intersection with FR14. Turn right on FR14 and continue 2.6 miles to the junction with FR1419. Bear left on FR1419 and continue about 2.2 miles to the junction with FR1420. Continue straight ahead on FR1420 for 0.4 miles to the buried corner and reference monument on the right.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe in a stone collar; rising 6"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
Found four ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and ATTENTION signs on the reverse sides. These trees define the location of the buried corner, which is about 4' E of the FR1420 centerline. The reference monument bears S60.3°E, 37.1' distant and is about 32' E from FR1420.
