The Visitors Center was constructed in 2011-12. It was constructed using timber-framing from the Kincaid Barns donated by the Town of Leesburg, Virginia and to complete the large meeting room another barn was recycled from Ohio. The building has offices, meeting rooms, and gift shop for the park.

The park itself was donated by Mrs. A.V. Symington in 1985 to the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority and it is maintained as an example of a 1900's working farm and open to the public.
