This fountain is located in Binnowee Landing
in the San Francisco Zoo.
* Binnowee Landing (originally Lorikeet
Landing) is a place where zoo visitors can come to feed the parakeets and other
small birds. Since the birds are on loan, it will only be open to the
public for a few more months. It will be turned into another hands-on
exhibit when these birds have to be returned.
The San Francisco Zoo is located on Sloat Blvd.
and the Great Highway (across the street from the Pacific Ocean).
The Zoo is open 365 days a year, from 10:00 AM
till 5:00 PM. The Children's Zoo is open from 11:00 AM till 4:00 PM.
Parking can be found in the zoo's main parking
lot (with entrances on the Great Highway and on Sloat Blvd.) or on Sloat Blvd.
There is a $5.00 parking fee to park in the lot.
