This Outdoor Stairway connects the parking lot at Domaine Carneros to the chateau at the top of the hill where you can sample their excellent Champagne.

This stairway is comprised of multiple sections of 5 to 6 steps interspersed with a landing. There are several opportunities while negotiating the 70-plus steps to stop and admire a fountain or to read interpretive plaques about the chateau or the fountain and catch your breath. For those that are unable to negotiate a stairway of this length, there is a special parking or drop-off area for the physically challenged.
