The 20th Street Stairway is in the Delores Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. It extends 20th Street from Sanchez Street at the bottom up a short steep hill to 20th Street continuation for autos at the top.

This stairways connects 20th street for pedestrians across a steep section leading from the bottom on Sanchez Street, up to the continuation of 20th Street at the top. This is a Y-shaped concrete stairway branching left and right, halfway up from Sanchez. The stairway travels through a tangle of acacia, bottlebrush, succulents and flowers such as lavender, azaleas, and California poppy.
