The headquarters of the Dallas Morning News at Young and Record streets in Downtown Dallas. The DMN has been covering Dallas since 1885. It is now a regional newspaper, with satellite bureaus in Tarrant, Collin, and Denton Counties.
The DMN is the establishment newspaper of Dallas, and should be read being very conscious of that bias, especially in its coverage of Dallas City hall and local politics. Supplement the information you find in TDMN with the Dallas Observer and you might have a reasonable idea of what is going on of importance in this town.
