Determination To Begin Buildig Our Nation's
Public Infrastructure In Cumberland, Maryland
In 1811 Helped Secure Our Country's Growth And
Prosperity.  It Is Further Dedicated To Future
Generations Who Will Inherit Their Legacy. May
All Who Gaze Upon This Monument Be So Inspired
For The Betterment Of Our Nation.
