Up until about twenty years ago, Manteca was the heart of California cowboy country. Now, the cows are gone and the cowboys ride SUVs. Almost all the farmland has been sacrificed to urban sprawl.

This hay barn is one of the last of its kind in the area. We hope it will last for a while.
