Albufeira is probably the most tourist spot in Portugal and it developed accordingly, changing from a quiet fishing community by the sea to a maze of resorts and tall buildings to host all the tourists willing to spend their summer vacations in the area.
Lost amidst all this, a forgotten water cistern, old, very old, on the top of a hill. I climbed up there and found these petrosomatoglyphs. Dog claw prints. Although the cistern is old and made of traditional small clay tiles, the cover is more modern, made of concrete, and that's where a dog stepped, leaving its mark.
