Un moteur en feu au passage de la côte, le pilote décide de continuer la mission. Après larguage des bombes, il tente de rallier la Corse, mais, voyant que l'appareil ne tiendrait pas jusque-là, fait demi-tour.
L'équipage évacue, sauf le pilote qui amarre les commandes de son appareil, pour ne pas qu'il tombe sur des habitations, avant de sauter à son tour. Il se pose au hameau Le Besset près de Saint-Julien Molhesabate.L'équipage est indemne, sauf le Sgt Dandrew dont le parachute s'est mis en torche.Il s'écrase prés du hameau de La Celle, commune de St Julien Vocance (07)
An engine fire crossing the coast, the pilot decided to continue the mission. After jettisoning bombs, he tries to Corsica, but seeing that the camera does not take until then turned around.
The crew evacuated, except for the pilot mooring controls of the aircraft, so it does not fall on homes, before jumping in turn. It arises in the hamlet Le Besset near Saint-Julien Molhesabate.L crew is free, except Sgt Dandrew whose parachute set torch.
