In 1912, the original sawmill was rebuilt to water power plant. 3 kV power line on wooden poles was built with length of 8.3 km, which provided electric power for the entire town of Kašperské Hory. When Kašperské Hory were connected to 22 kV power line, the 3 kV line was cancelled and any power produced is transferred to power plant Vydra, which provides operation of the facility.
