The church was built between 1703 and 1730. An earlier chapel was located here since the year 600. In the years 1860-1876 the nave was extended by five meters. The pipe organ was made 1880. The church interior became a major overhaul in 1890, 1927, 1960 and 1987.
So the church is around 300 years old!
