St James Anglican Cemetery dates from 1919. Gravestones displaying earlier deaths may have been transferred to St James from elsewhere. According to the transcript of monumental inscriptions published by the Ottawa Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society (1992), more than 500 individuals have been buried in this cemetery.
