Near the northwest corner of the City Cemetery, stands this Angel of Hope Statue. This Christmas Box Angel is attributed to Larry Johnson. It is almost directly west of the Veterans Memorial Monument. On the front of the grey granite plinth is the inscription:
OUR LITTLE ANGEL
On the reverse side of the plinth is etched:
THE CHRISTMAS BOX ANGEL
This Monument is dedicated to all
those who have lost children.
It is our hope you will find
comfort and love while visiting,
and know your precious Angel is near.
We invite the public to a memorial
service every Dec. 6th at 7:00 P.M.
We invite all to leave a white
flower at its base.
The statue is surrounded by a large concrete area decoratively etched to appear like large pavers of various sizes, pieced together into a large square surface. In each of the four corners of the area are grey granite benches.
The Spanish Fork Cemetery is located southeast of the city center at 420 South 400 East. The main entrance is at 400 South 400 East. If you enter here, take the first right inside the cemetery and it will be on your right side.
