I recovered this U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Bureau of Public Roads pipe cap from 1931 in good condition. It is monumented in a round concrete post that's flush with the surface and has a nearby metal witness post for easier recovery. The cap is stamped with the elevation of '3461' (also its designation) as well as the cap identifier of '43-2' and the year '1931'. The NGS datasheet description is adequate for station recovery. My posted coordinates will place you very close to this cap.
