The Tobermory Cenotaph is made from two separate memorials each made immediately after the respective World War thought there is no construction tablet at the site. The World War I monument, in the middle, was constructed here on a different platform circa 1920. I spoke with the people who take care of the cenotaph and the park and they confirmed that time frame but indicated that the precise date is lost. Certainly the stone and the carving are correct for being just after the first world war. It is a strong monument beautifully and prominently in the main harbour of Tobermory, Little Tub.
