Painted Turtle - Shanty Bay, Ontario - Turtle Crossings on Waymarking.com

This turtle seems to be a (Chrysemys picta marginata)or painted turtle. It was seen on 2 Line South heading west in the northbound lane. A car barely missed running it over seconds before we came to its rescue.
We carefully moved him across the roadway to the ditch on the westside.
