This three part grey granite memorial is located at the southwest corner of the Greene County Courthouse - 113 North Main Street in Greensboro, Ga. The two wings of the memorial have the seals of the six armed forces with the words: "Veterans Memorial" appearing below these seals. The center section has the seal of the United States. The inscription reads:

Dedicated to the Memory of All Veterans of Greene County, Georgia, who served our Country with Honor during times of War / Armed Conflict

At the bottom of the center section is the seal of the Veterans of Foreign Wars with the inscription -

Adams - Walker VFW Post 4259.

On the reverse of the center section is the dedication:
Dedicated November 11, 1999

The landscaping around the Memorial is a very full Holly bush that has been made into a hedge.
