I recovered this section corner from 1983 in good condition. It is located left of Hwy 140 if you're heading NW and SW of a dirt road that continues NW, parallel with Hwy 140. From the stamping on the cap face, this section corner marks the point defining Sections 1 and 25 in Township 36 South, Range 6 East and Sections 16 and 30 in Range 7 East. The cap has the designation stamping of 'LS 866' along with the year '1983'. Although this cap has no organization stamped on the face, I'm almost positive it was monumented by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Forest Service since I've recovered other section corners near this area from this organization and the property boundary here is National Forest Land behind the sign.

To reach this survey mark, take a dirt road left off Hwy 140 leading NW and travel about .1 mile. From there, walk about 50 feet SW to the station.
