This insect hotel is located at the promenade along the northern bank of the Rhine. The structure is about one meter wide and two meters high and contains many sections for different insect species. There's a large information sign next to it.
It was erected by the municipal department for public gardens and cemeteries. It was one of the first insect hotels in the area and had been standing there for several years before others came up with the same idea.
