Larry Harden studied art as an undergraduate student at the state university located in his hometown of Frostburg, Maryland. While studying for his MFA from the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore, he met his mentor, Edward Dugmore, a second generation abstract expressionist from New York.

In 1991 Larry moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he maintains his studio in Davenport, California. His works include drawing, painting and photographs.

Now a third generation Abstract Expressionist, Larry Harden has been featured at Ventana Gallery in Sonora, California.
