The property within the Beaver Creek State Natural Area was purchased from private owners over time, from 2007-2009. This acquisition is considered a key part of the multi-partner Beaver Creek watershed ecosystem management strategy, connecting old growth forests in the upper watershed with beach, coastal dunes, estuary, and marsh habitats downstream. The park opened in September 2010. The house on the property was remodeled and turned into a Visitor Center which provides information on the natural area and the activities which are available.
Hours of Operation: Seasonally open during summer. Open 12 to 4, days may vary.
Public Washrooms: Mens and Womens Only
Snacks/Drinks at the facility: No - Look elsewhere
