Long Description:
In Peoria's Peoria International Airport is this sculpture that moves through electric power and includes an electric fan.

The installation is in a corner of baggage claim area of the airport, which is open to everyone. To get to the terminal, go on I-474 to Airport Road, then follow the signs to the terminal. Enter the terminal and turn left. The sculpture is at the far end on the left.

The sculpture is a stainless steel structure with an electric fan. The main sculpture is a 'T-bar' with two rectangular panes or 'ears' mounted on the 'T-bar' and rise high in the air. These two features move. Mounted high on the wall is an electric fan.

The sculpture and fan cycle on and off in movement. The panes wave around while the fan just blows.

A plaque mounted by the sculpture has the following:

""Two Open Rectangles Excentric Variation VI Square Section"

1976 3/3
Presented to the Greater Peoria Airport Authority through the efforts of Dr. and Mrs. George Kottemann frends and businesses of the area

It provides a little entertainment as you wait for your bags to appear on the track.
