Corsican village of Ota is situated approx. 7 kilometres from western coast of the island, close to small harbour town Porto.
There are just twenty-some buildings in the village, but a view from Casanova road turnout (direction Porto) would be lovely on any postcard.
Medieval houses made of stone with red roofs are guarded by church tower of St. John Baptist. All under orange-pink rock towers above wild Spelunca valley, without any electricity poles and wires in sight.
