From Newport, travel S on US101 across the Yaquina Bay Bridge. Continue about 1.5 miles to the South Beach State Park exit. Turn right and continue about 0.3 miles to the parking area. The 3" brass cap is flush with the surface of a composite parking divider at the S end of the parking lot.
